Reciprocity fee for US citizens
US citizens that visit the Argentine Republic as tourists
or for business purposes shall pay a “reciprocity
fee” of $160 or its equivalent in pesos. This
“reciprocity fee” is not a visa since US
citizens do not need a visa to travel to Argentina for
tourism or business purposes. The Argentine Government
set this fee according to the amount that Argentines
must pay when requesting a visa to enter the United
States of America.
Form of Payment
You can choose to pay online until October 30, 2012,
if the port of entry to the Argentine Republic is Aeroparque
Jorge Newbery, or up to December 28, 2012, if the port
of entry is Aeropuerto Internacional Ministro Pistarini
(Ezeiza).
